PSTS is a vital tool for billeting, flights, housekeeping and establishing rotational schedules. The program is a good management tool for block seat assignments and provides reports for flight scheduling. The program alerts the user to input errors, double bookings, room assignment problems and generates a daily housekeeping report. Future week travel reports and an extended monthly manpower report give the user forward-looking business projections for detailed planning. During the last ten years PSTS has become a vital management tool for all travel and housing at Endicott. [And Sundog Systems] has provided reliable and prompt support.

[Sundog Systems] has provided ConocoPhillips Alaska at the Alpine Oilfield with PSTS since 2004. It has been a very easy system to learn and use and has been in use daily by all of the major travel planners at Alpine, encompassing 300 to 600 personnel. It alerts the user when flights are double-booked in the same direction or if a date/flight is [incorrect]. We have been able to forecast travel well in advance. There are frequent changes made to flights and they are easily accomplished in PSTS.

I have used PSTS for approximately 15 years now. I have processed thousands of schedule changes and never once has it dropped data or failed to operate correctly. We manifest over 1300 personnel in the summer months - and we are able to do this successfully ONLY because we use this system. It incorporates our spot changes to billeting, our weekly and daily manifests, individual travel summaries and our Anchorage payroll system uses the group reports on a daily basis to ensure accuracy of timesheets for our entire North Slope personnel. Our no-show rate is one of the lowest slope-wide - averaging below 1% on a weekly basis.
